hello tuppence03
:wsde:

You need think carefully before breeding. Have you been keeping them long?

The leopard gecko market is very competive. You may not make a profit and you may not be able to sell them..

If you are still set on breeding them I'd go for a more exclusive morphs, but you'll have to spend out a little. Enigmas seem to be going well at the moment. Make sure you get a linage (to prevent inbreeding) and get them from a reptuable source.

You could always go along to a show to see what morphs actually look like and what is selling.

Hi and welcome to the forums.

I agree with Wookie. . . I would keep them for a while before deciding to breed them.

As for what colors to breed that would be personal preference. . . you should look around online and see if any particular morph seems more interesting to you. Going to a show would also be a great idea. You can see some of the morphs up close and personal.

As long as you realize what a commitment this is and are prepared for that then I say go for it but make sure you aren't getting in over your head.

Again, welcome to the forums.

Welcome to The Rack!!

People already covered all of the serious business, so I'll just say hi.
Check out the leopard gecko forum here to get started, although we're new and still building up the posted material. But feel free to ask up any questions you have and we'll answer away. Just cause we're a little quiet right now doesn't mean we don't know our stuff!!

Welcome (a couple days late sorry). The above posters give some great advice. You should also research locally on what is selling and at what prices. Personally I feel that the leo market is overpopulated so it is something to really think about before doing.
