Most of you know I got a baby beardie about 2-3 weeks ago and so I figured I'd give a little update.

He's doing really well, his chest/belly is 100% healed now and he's starting to show a little attitude. He has decided that he will not eat by himself though so I'm basically hand feeding him out of tongs and that has increased him appetite 10 fold. He still loves his water though, I think he thinks he's a water dragon not a bearded dragon but what can you do? He hasn't grown very much though so I don't know, maybe now that he's eating (up to about 10-15 pinheads a day instead of 3 so it's an improvement) he will grow a bit.

If I ever get another cam I might take some pictures lol.

He's tiny, and pin heads are 'what fits between his eyes' so that's what he gets, he won't go for much bigger. He will take a 1/4" at the absolute most . . . pain he is. I tried veggies, that's a big no right now, but I'm still tryin a little bit each day. He's (including his tail) as big as my thumb.

Have you tried using a seperate feeding box? a little empty plastic container where there is nowhere for the crix to hide?

Yeah, I normally move him to him and leave him with them for like 5 mins but the only thing he does is bash his face in so I just feed him with the tongs and he'll eat that way, then I put him in a warm bath for a little (like every other day) and then back to his cage. But he's pooing on a more normal basis now so that's a good thing.

I think I may have found out why he won't eat by himself ... I think my baby might be blind. His eyes are kind of weird shaped, he can't follow any movement when i move my finger in front of his eyes or anything like that. I mean when I hand feed him I have to sit there and put the crix to his mouth like 20 times then when he opens it I put it in and he chomps it down. I just think that he may have some sight issues. We'll see.
