and 100's of pics.
my dad and i went to the the south of Florida for about a week to see some wildlife and we saw a bunch of stuff, fish, birds, rabbits, mice, deer, racoon's, coyote's, turtles, lizards, crocs, gators and my personal favorite, snakes!
anyways, im in Quebec now where i dont even know what food's on the menu if im in a restaurant.frensh people :wssk:
so i thought id post some sics of all the stuf that we saw in the evergldes (wel the ones that we have pics of anyways...)
hope you enjoy :)

first the classic
Image

now some turtles :)
Image
whats that softshell doing out of the water...

Image

okok, 1 more turtle pic and il be moving on :bsse:
Image

whats next? lizards? ok :)
Image

Image

Image

Image
i've got more lizards....but a lot of other stuf to sow you to.

Image

Image

Image
i usually don't mind birds to much but owls are special.

now can finally get to the SNAKES
first of all, the most common one, the banded water snake, we saw more than 30 of those.
Image

Image

Image
next up, cottonmouths, now these snakes are cranky.
Image
look at those fangs!
Image

Image
its the onley venomous species we saw but we saw plenty of them.

now this one right here looks like a brown water snake, we saw 2 of those
Image

florida green water snake coming up next, also saw 2 of those.

Image

we saw about 4 or 5 burms.
Image

the largest snake was a 10ft burmese python but unfortunatly my dad was holding the camera so this is all that i have to show for it,
Image
:sssw:

ah well, moving on...
next a garter snake, the onley one we saw but this one was HUGE (for a garter snake that is) it was like 4 ft.
Image
i regret not having anyting to compare his sise with in the pictures, cause seriously he was aas big as an adult watersnake.

anyways, the next snake's a scarlet snake, we saw 3 of those...
Image

Image

next is the great corn snake seen 3 times
Image

now i didnt get any pics of the coyoty or the racers that we saw but to make it up to you ive got this crayfish crossing the road.

Image

and thats about it, hope you enjoyed it.

thanks, the burms ware in the everglades, they have an estimated population of 10 000's to 100 000's
of course, they are exotic so you dont need a permit to take them out of the park.

but my dad wouldnt let me keep one :(

Not yet... I don't have the money for it right now. All of it got spent on Marquis' vet bill (the male Dumerils).

I understand that, but the Everglades is a very large place. I need the 4 L's!!! Locations, latitudes, longitudes, landmarks! Oh, and a GPS track on where you found each snake, if you don't mind. I know what I'm gonna do after the Daytona show! haha.

Upper Respiratory Infection. He was bubbling/foaming at the mouth. But he never had any issues before that. No breathing issues, popping noise, none of that. He just started salivating to the point where he couldn't open his mouth. I gotta give him one more shot of Amikacin tomorrow
