A Present from Louie

Post them pics here!! They don't have to be reptile related, everyone loves a good pic no matter what it is.

A Present from Louie

Postby robbiescornfield on 12 Nov 2008 17:57

Remember the black racer eggs that were found a while back? Well here's 2 of the babies straight out of the FedEx box! Thanks again, Louie!
One has a rather odd kink (appears to be spinal, but apparently hasn't kept him/her from eating). They're both unsexed, but one appears to be male, and the other appears to be female. We shall see what happens!

Aren't they just adorable?! The one with the kink is now officially named Quasimodo. Haven't thought of a name for the other one yet.

I would like to edit the second part of that statement. The second is named Raven.

Nice...that's amazing...right now I'm at 11. That isn't too bad I don't think. Most being balls with 1 corn and 1 boa.

Are you gonna lay low for a while with snakes or you just gonna keep on going?

I'm definitely laying low. I've had 7 new additions in the past week and a half! (a proven female anery corn, a breeding size lavender zig zag corn, a breeding size bairds rat snake, 2 '08 normal corns het hypo ph blood lav anery, and now these two)

Nice. Yea...I was gonna get another corn for mine or a male boa for the new albino but just didn't happen at the show. It was kinda lame unless you had $600 or were into retics.

Yay! Glad to hear that the babies arrived safe and sound!

Rising He justified freely, forever:
One day, He's coming, O glorious day!

Were those the last of them? How many did you have in the first place.

Ten of eleven hatched.

I released two, and apparently one released itself.

One was probably eaten and regurged in a territory dispute :(

Three starved themselves :(

Robbie has two,

and I have one.

Ah... Yeah, the winter shows can be like that... Just wait until like the July/August show. That's when there's a little bit of anything and everything, and hatchlings, and juvies, and woohoo!

Well the only corn I was even slightly interested in was just your run of the mill snow and well I don't really want another one. Apparently there's this guy on craigs that is looking to get rid of his anery that's het hypo and something else for $50 so I might do that.

Nice Louie....sorry that some of them commited murder and suicide but hey that happens sometimes.

UPDATE!
Quasimodo has eaten a whole pink (minus the parts that exploded), and Raven is in the process of eating a pink head. BOTH were UNASSISTED!
